The highly acclaimed design duo Eley Kishimoto created a capsule collection exclusively for Weekday which will hit stores this Friday, Dec. 3. The collection embodies the essence of the brand with details with prints in versatile, easy-to-wear pieces and a playful use of color. The collection contains both womenswear and menswear as well as a few accessories.

Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto partnered in the earls 90’s and gained reputation for sharp prints and their work with Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen and Alber Elbaz. In the mid 90’s, the partnership moved into the fashion world with the launch of their first womenswear collection. This time, they have designed menswear as well. In addition, they created numerous products such as wallpaper, furniture, glassware and tableware.

Weekday is a chain store that also retails Cheap Monday and Weekday Vintage. In spring of 2009, Weekday launched its new concept Weekday Collaboration. So far, these collaborations have included designers such as Carin Wester, Mini Market and Stine Goya.
