April 22 & 23–the original dates of the now-cancelled Kingpins Amsterdam denim trade show–sees the debut of Kingpins24, an online denim conference. Kingpins24 will feature a two-day live stream of exhibitor content (think line presentations, sustainability and CSR updates) as well as panels, interviews and casual conversations, for example our editor-in-chief Sabine Kühnl's video talk with Kingpins founder Andrew Olah:

The organizers also point put that Kingpins24 will not take the place of a Kingpins trade show but rather aims for "attendees to have an understanding of the denim supply chain’s offerings for the f/w 2021 season".

“We believe Kingpins24 can give our global industry a chance to connect and share information. We have no other desire but to be a conduit for the denim world during these difficult times, where most of us, including me, are at home far away from our normal world,” says Olah.

Kingpins24 will go live at 9am CET (Central European Time) on April 22 and wrap up at midnight on April 23. All content (except for the Kingpins trend forecast session) is free for all attendees, the official schedule has been released today: Kingpins24 program.
