Momad Metrópolis, the international tradeshow for clothes and accessories, goes into its second season and the signs are already indicating that this years’ event is going to be a success. The event, hosted by Ifema, takes place from 9-11 September, 2016, at Feria de Madrid in the halls 2, 12 and 14 and will bring together 850 brands.

Momad Metrópolis will coincide with Momad Shoes, the international footwear and leather goods tradeshow and the Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya Shows, for a few days turning Madrid’s exhibition center into the greatest global venue for fashion and the latest trends in Southern Europe. Altogether, the five shows organized by Ifema will host aorund 2,800 companies.

Momad Metrópolis introduces Metro Area

This upcoming edition will feature a series of innovations. One being the introduction of the Metro Area, a new part of the show where a selection of high-end international labels come together and present their collections in selected surroundings.

Sustainable Fashion meets Momad Metrópolis

Sustainability is also key at Momad Metrópolis. Therefore, the fair will present a new area dedicated to this topic in hall 12. Here, companies who use ethical methods in their production, work with an emphasis on social responsibility and work with respect for biodiversity, will exhibit their collections.

From urban fashion to the latest trends

This year’s Momad Metrópolis will preview the new collections for the upcoming spring 2017 and fall/winter 2016/17 seasons for men, women and kids.

Hall 2 will host Fast and Young, the area for young urban fashion.

In Hall 12, visitors will find the areas Contemporary (latest trends), Casual (advanced collections), Sustainable Fashion and Metro Area (high class international brands).

Hall 14 will host the areas Event (party and important celebrations) and Now (seasonal fashion).

In addition, Momad Metrópolis will be hosting a program of parallel activities focused on attracting visitor’s attention and providing resources to help small businesses expand and improve.
