The trade fair will take place from March 15 to 17, 2017 at NECC National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, in halls 1-4.

With an overall of 1200 international and Chinese exhibitors, the trade show will present new trends for FW 2017/18 for presumably 100,000 visitors.

The fair structure includes the segments Urban view (menswear), New look (womenswear), Kids’ paradise (kidswear and school uniforms), heritage (leather/fur/downwear), Secret Stars (accessories, shoes, bags), Impulses (designer fashion) and Fashion Journey (international exhibitors).

In the international segment a total of 18 regions and nations will be presented, including the national pavilions from Italy “La Moda Italiana” and France “Paris Forever”. The “Made in Germany” pavilion will be organized by Messe Düsseldorf.

Turkey will be present with a national pavilion as well. Further individual exhibitors come from Spain, the UK, Switzerland, Peru, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Canada and Thailand.

For the first time, Chinese brands will be shown under the title SHANGHAI BAG Expo at CHIC.

Technical innovations in the fashion industry will be discussed in seminars and also presented at the fair. In the limelight, there is software for multichannel solutions by e.g. Regentsoft and 3D garment development technology by the company Qishon from Xiamen.

Social media promotions and several fashion shows will also be part of the trade show's enter- and infotainment program.
