The fair for leather goods and accessories I.L.M closed its winter edition on Monday after three days in Offenbach (Germany). 294 exhibitors presented their products in a well-structured and organized area. The number of visitors reaches its previous year level with 6,200.
“ILM is the biggest trade show for leather goods and accessories in Germany, we have clients that only come to this trade show because they can find everything under one roof and that is why ILM is so important for us”, states Vanessa Antulov from We Love Fashion Agency.
“At the moment I am a bigger fan of bags and accessories because retailers and buyers are much more open when it comes to new styles, trends and colors. They have the courage to go with something totally different every season. I can’t say that for clothing”, says Tom Berndl from Trading Pool.
Some exhibitors were not totally satisfied with the frequency. Especially in the upper areas C and D – at least at the last day – there were not many visitors coming by. But most of the exhibitors were satisfied with the outcome of the ILM. Arnd Hinrich Kappe, Managing Director Messe Offenbach: “We are very happy with this edition. Our strategy is continuity and stability for our exhibitors and visitors. We want to be an international order fair that pays off for all.”
