Tranoï joined forces with DFO, a fashion management and market development group for the China and Greater China markets, and created a new B2B event called Nova to be held during Shanghai Fashion Week. According to DFO and Tranoï, Nova is an “innovative hub with three levels of services.” The trade show takes place March 27-30, 2020 at Shanghai Expo.

“This new project in collaboration with DFO is perfectly in line with Tranoï’s development strategy: to offer brands a new kind of trade fair that adapts their offer to the specificities of the market. With Nova by DFO and Tranoï, we offer three different formats that cater to different brands on the market with various levels of maturity and to the different needs of their sales teams,” says Boris Provost, CEO of Tranoï.

This is what visitors can expect from the Nova trade fair:

  • The Next: Marketing support for emerging talents new to the Chinese market that possess a strong and unique point of view
  • The Designers: Sales support for designers wishing to build business in China
  • The Showroom: Full distribution showcasing the most mature and commercially sought-after designers in the industry

In addition, there will be a supporting program consisting of catwalk events, seminars on topics of the Chinese market, store tours as well as gallery exhibitions.

Mei mei Ding, CEO of DFO, says: “For DFO, this is a true milestone. It is an honor to extend our know-how and experiences to help more brands to enter the Chinese market. In order to provide more in-depth strategies for brands under our distribution arm, we have been more and more selective in our brand portfolio. Nova by DFO and Tranoï allows us to work with great partners and keep an eye on the next best talents.”
