Who's Next
The next edition of Who's Next, which was originally scheduled for 4-7 September at Porte de Versailles, has now been postponed to 2-4 October. WSN will now take place alongside Premiere Classe at the Jardin des Tuileries during Paris Fashion Week.
This was announced yesterday by the fair organizers in an official statement. The statement continues: „ As of the start of August 2020, the crisis continues and the situation in Europe and internationally is causing great uncertainty. WSN’s calendar of events allows us to strategically postpone Who’s Next | IMPACT | Traffic for 4 weeks to adapt and bring together the largest fashion community possible on one day.”
Instead of September the Vimeet platform will now be available on the corresponding October dates to enable exhibitors to organise their meetings with buyers and present physically or through videoconference for Who’s Next, Impact, Traffic and Premiere Classe.
Liberty Fairs
Liberty Fairs will partner up with digital wholesale platform Joor and launch the first US-based marketplace allowing brands and retailers to transact directly online. The virtual marketplace will be live on August 17 and will continue through September 17.
The "floor" of the virtual marketplace will last for three days, but will be open for four weeks to allow retailers to place their orders.
The Liberty Virtual Marketplace will be built on the Joor Passport, which centralizes the trade show experience by creating a single point of contact for users. Retailers will be able to discover and connect brands directly and do business with them.
Copenhagen Fashion Week
The organizers of CPHFW recently announced the launch of their new digital format called CPHFW72H. For 72 hours the digital format offers shows, talks, events and much more. The event will go live at Monday (10 August) at 10 CET. In addition every show on the official schedule will be followed by a live Q&A with editors in fashion interviewing every designer.
