Following the recent cancellation of the September 2020 edition of The Fairyland for Fashion group of fairs including, among others, Texworld and Texworld Denim Paris (also read here), the organizer Messe Frankfurt France has decided to team up with Foursource, a specialist in digital textile sourcing solutions, to offer a digital platform for all of its shows.

This development will enable exhibitors from the trade shows to present their collections to international buyers through a digital network including a virtual showroom, matchmaking functions and other tasks. Buyers will be able to select companies they want to get in touch with through the platform according to specific criteria including, for instance, country of origin, minimum quantities, type of service and certificates.

With the 15,000 visitors of Messe Frankfurt France trade shows and the 15,000 professionals already registered on the online sourcing platform, nearly 30,000 textile and clothing professionals can take part in it.

The platform will be available from September 1 on the respective trade fair websites and will be offered exclusively for a renewable period of six months to exhibitors that will participate the February edition of the Paris trade fairs to be held February 1-4, 2021.

"With this new partnership, Messe Frankfurt France is giving priority to textile expertise and quality contacts. These new access points will help to maximize opportunities between buyers and exhibitors at the next edition of our textile trade shows,” says Frédéric Bougeard, president of Messe Frankfurt France.
