Rumors have been in the air for quite some time and when you met visitors at the trade fairs who also exhibit at Panorama, you could hear it again and again: The January edition of Panorama–together with Selvedge Run–will take place at Tempelhof Airport.

Now the rumors have been officially confirmed by Panorama: "In view of fundamental upheavals in the clothing trade, the relevance of conventional trade fair formats in their old form is being questioned." With this statement the fair explains the change of location.

Jörg Wichmann had started the fair in 2013, originally planned at the Berlin airport in Schoenefeld. In 2014 the event moved to the Exhibition Centre in Berlin, where the platform operated and expanded very successfully over the seasons. However, in the last seasons, it has become apparent that the trade fair was increasingly losing traction. Unsatisfied exhibitors and disappearing visitor numbers led to the final decision to move to the new location in January 2020.

No further details of the upcoming edition have been unveiled yet.
