Messe Frankfurt, organizer of the Neonyt trade fair, has decided against a virtual edition for summer 2020. In an official statement it is said that it was not considered to be expedient to develop a digital platform of its own to display the Neonyt and its exhibitors in virtual showrooms. Instead, they are counting on cooperation with two existing B2B online marketplaces.
The Brand Show Circular is a B2B marketing and order platform, which offers the possibility to publish video content in addition to the digital showrooms and the order business for brands. Sustainable fashion is the focus of The Brand Show Circular and many Neonyt exhibitors are already represented there with digital showrooms.
The cooperation with Joor (more here), one of the world's leading B2B platforms for brands and retailers, and the Premium Group, also offers Neonyt exhibitors extensive digital services.
"There are already innumerable approaches to the implementation of virtual events and showrooms. Therefore, after a thorough examination, it was obvious for us not to develop yet another solution for this ourselves, but to rely on the expertise of well-known industry partners," says Thimo Schwenzfeier, show director of Neonyt. "With The Brand Show Circular and Joor as our "Preferred Partners" for the summer of 2020, we enable Neonyt exhibitors to use all digital services of B2B order platforms".
For the Fashionsustain conference, however, a digital solution based on the existing channels was found: In the week from 13 to 17 July 2020, speakers from the sustainable and digital fashion industry will deal with topics concerning innovation, sustainability and technology in live talks and various audio and video formats on the social media channels of Neonyt and Fashionsustain.
