Ispo Munich has changed plans for its upcoming February edition: due to the current Corona situation the physical event originally scheduled 31 January – 03 February will not take place. Instead organizer Messe München has announced an online-only event running 1-5 February.

The format builds on the experiences of the digital Ispo Re.Start Days in June 2020. It shall offer further developed opportunities for brand and product presentation, exchange and networking as well as the maintenance of international business relations.

"Both the customers and we as organizers have high expectations of the internationality and quality of Ispo Munich. Under the current framework conditions we could not meet these expectations on both sides. With Ispo Munich Online we enable all customers worldwide to participate in the event. At the same time we can realize formats to integrate new target groups," says Klaus Dittrich, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe München.

As Ispo has further announced the five-day digital event will focus on “creativity & digitization, health and sustainability”. As a digital edition, Ispo Munich Online wants to offer platforms for presentation and getting to know new products, brands and business contacts, networking with exhibitors, visitors, media and influencers as well as participation in forums and discussion groups via live streaming and chat rooms.

In addition to the trade audience, end consumers will also be given the opportunity for the first time to participate digitally and to engage in direct dialog with the industry. In brand rooms for product presentations, workshops and master classes, brands and companies have the opportunity to present themselves digitally to sports and outdoor fans around the world and to enter into an exchange with them.
