Super, the trade show focused on woman’s fashion and accessories held from February 20th to February 23rd, 2020 at Padiglione Visconti, in Milan, registered similar results to its September 2019 edition for its first three days, while on Sunday 23rd it saw a significant loss of visitors, especially among Italian buyers, due to the coronavirus emergency.
“The best Italian and international retailers, multibrand high-end, department stores and on-line retailers visited Padiglione Visconti and all of the appreciated our offer, styling of our presentation and scouting as well as for our Super Talents selection of young designer accessories and exclusive fragrances presented by Campomarzio70,” commented Agostino Poletto, general manager, Pitti Immagine.
The show registered a total of 4,500 buyers (they were 5,800 in September 2019). Out of the total about 1,000 were international ones (more than 20% of the total), from about different 50 countries. Among the top markets buyers came from Japan, followed by Spain, Germany, France, Switzerland, Greece, The US, and The UK.
Some of the most interesting brands participating were Italian brand Karpet Diem, who showcased bags, shoes and sneakers made with Persian carpets, garment-dyed camouflage trousers by Vuem, fancy jeanswear pieces by Shaft Jeans, edgy jeans, dresses and tops by Maurizio Massimino, cool trousers including printed denim ones with elastic waistband by White Sand, metallic leather shoes and boots by Ninni and vintage- inspired jewels by GMG.
