As a result of the ongoing Corona crisis Denimsandjeans has announced to postpone its entire denim textile shows to next year. The three events in India, Vietnam and (for the first time) in Japan were meant to run in 2020 and had been already postponed during the year:
Denimsandjeans Japan, which was originally scheduled in Tokyo in March 2020 and had been postponed to September, will now move to 2-3 March 2021.
The Vietnam edition in Hồ Chí Minh City, which was postponed from June to November, shall now take place 9-10 June 2021–with the option to hold it earlier if the health situation improves quickly.
The India show set in Bangalore, originally scheduled in July 2020, is now postponed to 9-10 February 2021.
Apart from its physical events, Denimsandjeans further pushes its digital offer: After the debut of the virtual show, Denimsandjeans Virtual, in July bringing denim companies and buyers together, organizers go for a second edition 14-15 October running 15 hours each day to cover both European and American time zones.

“Our 2
nd edition of Denimsandjeans Virtual is getting great traction with global suppliers joining us to be able to meet buyers specially visiting from European and US regions. We will provide unique upgraded facilities to both exhibitors and visitors to enable them to have fruitful face2face meetings besides giving them an opportunity to network! But our efforts towards digitalization started in early 2017 when we started working on DE-Brands platform for the denim community which is both app and web based and available on both iOS and Android. It has currently over 50 global companies who are using it to create their showrooms and interacting with buyers who register there,” comments
