After yesterday’s news that Panorama Fashion Fair Berlin GmbH has applied to open insolvency proceedings on its own assets organizers of the other Berlin trade shows seem to remain calm and emphasize that it’s important to keep up business.

“We have rental contracts. Seek will take place 30 June to 2 July at Arena Berlin, Premium at Station-Berlin. We once again want to point out that we never make statements without any solid background information. Especially in times like these–think all the news spreading about Corona etc.–that should be appreciated,” Lena Elster, head of communications, Premium Group, said today when asked about the plans for summer.

Additionally, with regards to the current news about Panorama, Anita Tillmann, managing partner, Premium Group, says: "To use a football metaphor: if your long-term goal has been to play in the Champions League, constant tweaks to the team and always announcing new match strategies tends to lead to conversations around relegation rather than victory."

Neonyt, the platform for sustainable fashion under the helm of Messe Frankfurt and Panorama Berlin’s neighbor at Tempelhof, also sticks to its initial exhibitions plans: “We will definitely continue at Tempelhof and, as has been already announced, will grow with the July edition adding a second hangar. In that respect the developments at Panorama do not directly affect us, but of course we wish them best of success and hope that the synergy effects that we saw in January will be the same in summer,” says Thimo Schwenzfeier, show director, Neonyt.
