"Nobody could talk about 'business as usual', but we hoped there would be no second lockdown. But this is exactly the scenario we are facing again and we had to make decisions in the interests of our exhibitors, visitors and also employees," says Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies of Messe Frankfurt. In view of the continuing rise in infection figures and the current resolutions of the German government, there is no other option for the organizer of Neonyt than to cancel the winter edition.

In talks, panel discussions and master classes, the community will get the opportunity to discuss the latest developments and innovations in the sustainable fashion and textile industry in the week from January 18 to 22, 2021. Further information on the program will follow in the coming weeks, Messe Frankfurt states.
Additionally, Neonyt wants to take the exhibitors' order business into account in the adjusted plans by the renewed cooperation of Neonyt with B2B marketplace 'The Brand Show Circular', which is meant to help brands to maintain existing business contacts and acquire new customers. The digital services of the B2B platform range from classic marketing and ordering activities to virtual showrooms with multimedia content.
The next physical edition of Neonyt will take place 6-8 July, 2021 in Frankfurt am Main as part of the newly created Frankfurt Fashion Week concept.
