The upcoming edition of Texworld, taking place in Paris from 18 to 21 September 2017, will see the debut of the new Texworlddenim section.
The new section will host over 80 exhibitors, all specialized in the denim segment – from producers of fabrics and contractors for the clothing industry to vertical producers specialized in producing, from yarn to private-label collections.
The new section will be characterized by a new concept disclosing booths that are easier to view and vary in size. This area will host a new own trend forum created by the artistic directors of the show - Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud. A "social village" enlivened by a wide program of meetings and presentations will give the show a more denim-focused series of events.
“We have introduced the Texworlddenim segment at our next show edition as a true reflection of the dominant position that denim occupies in the fashion industry,” commented Michael Scherpe, president, Messe Frankfurt France.
Among other novelties of the show, over 100 new exhibitors will participate in the event for the first time. Among its newcomers there will be manufacturers from two new countries. Myanmar will be exhibiting for the first time, with the MGMA (Myanmar Garment Manufacturers’ Association) supported by the German AVE. This country is renowned for its casual wear products and will participate at Apparel Sourcing Paris held within the Texworld group of shows.
