Show & Order, the specialized trade show offering feminine fashion, accessory and footwear brands, was characterized by a cool, comfy and relaxed atmosphere.
The event took place July 4-6, 2017 in the authentic Berlin Mitte atmosphere of Kraftwerk, a historic former electricity plant. The show’s top trends for s/s 2018 included big doses of Ibiza and summer holiday inspiration with lots of ethnic shirts in Sangallo lace, decorated with embroideries, prints and trimmings. Pops of gold and silver completed many of the dresses and shirts on offer.
Some denim brands at the show offered premium quality products focused on eco-friendly and careful manufacturing standards.
Accessories were also important and include flip-flops, espadrilles and sandals, delicate silver and gold jewels, funky decorated straw bags and essential and minimalistic urban leather ones.

In addition, the onsite exhibition “Homage to Gianni Versace” presented some archive pieces of the Italian designer to mark the 20th anniversary of his death this year.
These were our favorite five collections at Show & Order:
Happy Haus is an environmentally friendly French-German brand offering denim dresses, shirts and overalls all made with sustainable denims produced and treated according to eco-friendly production standards. Kimono dresses and other essential no-season denim pieces are offered all year long. Distinct winter and summer capsule collections complete the collection. Special collabs with international artists include limited edition fancy pieces.

Women’s jeanswear line Aly John was founded less than a year ago by Portuguese jeans manufacturer Aly John. This brand is manufactured entirely in Portugal and employs Japanese denims only, including stretch selvedge ones. The selection offers high-waisted jeans for women that guarantee maximum comfort and self-confidence. Each piece carries in its inner side an embroidered quote of a woman who inspired that model–such as Madonna, Audrey Hepburn or others.

Batucada is a unique line of jewels all made with eco-friendly substances (80% vegetal oil and 20% sustainable plasticizer) injected into a mold. The results are cool, thin and lightweight artistic jewels that are already sold worldwide by museum shops, concept stores and fashion and jewelry stores. A line of flip-flops completes the offer.

Juliet Dunn London and Pho Firenze are respectively a British line of comfy beach shirts and an Italian line of shirts and dresses meant to be worn during holidays. The latter is entirely made in Italy and is completed by precious colorful embroideries. It also offers a small selection of denim dresses and short denim jackets with feminine trimmings, fringes and decorations.
