Panorama strengthens its management

Panorama Berlin has appointed a new chief sales officer (CSO) and created two new management positions in the areas of technology/digital and communication/product strategy.

Fares Gabriel Hadid will serve as Panorama’s new CSO. Hadid has worked for Bread & Butter from 2004 - 2013. Most recently, he developed the Berlin Bicycle Show and the Berlin Bicycle Week as a managing partner.

Michael Rüffer has been appointed new chief technical officer (CTO). He brings with him years of experience in developing different start-ups. In his new position he shall help establishing the fair’s own competence in the field of online market place formats.

Additionally, Tom Heise will be completing the Panorama management team as new chief communication officer / product strategy (CCO) from September. Heise has worked for communications agency Häberlein & Mauerer for more than ten years, where he was, amongst other things, also responsible for the concept and implementation of Adidas’ concept stores No74 Berlin and No42 Paris. Most recently, he worked as director of the agency's business development & strategy.

CEO Jörg Wichmann commented: "[…]The expansion of the management level is an important strategic step for us to position Panorama Berlin as an independent innovation driver and a reliable partner in the European fashion and lifestyle market."

With its new team members, the fair wants to get closer to a consumer’s lifestyle. Under the direction of Fares Gabriel Hadid, the fair wants to cover more lifestyle themes such as gifts, home accessories, gadgets or food.

The developer team of Michael Rüffer and Tom Heise shall further develop Panorama’s Digital B2B marketplace in order to enable an all-year network of retailers and brands.
