On 1 and 2 March 2017, Denimsandjeans Bangladesh will kick off its seventh edition at the Hotel Radisson in Dhaka.

The event will focus on “Denim Mash Up”, a trend that will influence upcoming seasons especially in young women’s denim with the fun feel of the ‘90s added with allover embellishments, shredding and chain details, but also embroideries, exaggerated proportions, quilted surfaces and fabric mixes, among other themes.

The Denimsandjeans team will recreate this theme employing the newest fabrics by global denim suppliers participating in the show.

Informative seminars, live presentations, panel discussions and workshops on global denim innovations will add further dynamics to the show. While bringing together a selection of highly respected denim mills, the show aims to maintain its exclusivity by hosting a compact selection of exhibitors and welcoming its visitors upon invitation only.

During its last edition held in October 2016, the show recalled international key retailers and buying houses including G-Star, Celio, Carrefour, H&M, Jade, Kiabi, Li and Fung, Ostin, Tesco, Tom Tailor, LC Wkaiki, Zara, S. Oliver, JC Penny, Sainsbury’s and Bestseller, among others.

A key highlight of the show was a workshop by a traditional artisan from Rajasthan (India) who presented the 3000-year-old indigo dyeing and printing tradition from this ancient land.
