Toms, known for its charitable canvas espadrilles, is extending its product range by bags. The spring/summer 2015 bag collection will benefits the brand's initiative “One for One”: With every purchased Toms bag, the company will provide funds to their network of Giving Partners (non-profits organizations) to help support the training of birth attendants in Latin America, South Asia and Africa, as well as equip them with the necessary tools to help women safely deliver their babies.
The line consists out of three collections – Artisan, Campus & Tech and Travel-Inspired Fashion – while every model is hand-beaded, made out of rich material and has hand-woven embroidery. The Artisan bags are designed by local artisans using traditional techniques passed down for generations. The Campus & Tech bags are created for students and professionals and offer protection for their laptops and tablets. The Travel-Inspired Fashion bags are lightweight and multifunctional and especially built for travelling.
The bags will be available as from March 2015.
