Timberland, part of VF Corporation, has employed Camila Vesth as new Global Design Director for Apparel and Accessories. She will report to Rene Skytte, VP Global Apparel & Accessories who comments: “She has already adapted to the unique Timberland culture, introducing a visionary design strategy, and producing a working methodology that will secure the brand reaching another milestone the coming season.”

Vesth previously worked at Adidas for four years in Germany. After this she moved to lead the women’s team in the US department. Prior to Timberland, Vesth was Head of Creative Apparel and Accessories at Le Coq Sportif. Parallel to this, she supervised collections for the lounge wear brand Karmameju and the yoga and running company Run and Relax.

Vesth about her new role: “I have been given this great opportunity to work with a brand that is truly reinventing itself and aiming for even higher standards than those Timberland already stands for. I am certain Timberland will become an even bigger player in the apparel market, and I am proud to be part of the team leading the way as the Design Director.” Executive search firm Fusion Associates facilitated his appointment.
