Is democracy the new cool? Apparently, yes, for Diesel. For the next edition of Milan Fashion Week, Diesel will participate the official women's calendar for spring/summer 2023 with a fashion show that will be open to the public.
Under the creative direction of Glenn Martens, Diesel's co-ed show will be held at 12.30pm, on Wednesday, September 21st, 2022. The line will feature an all-gender wardrobe and Martens' unique design characterising the whole Diesel universe.
"The decision to hold a fashion show open to the public is related to Diesel's values of inclusivity and the desire to bring fashion to a broader, more democratic audience," a note from the company says.
For these reasons, the spring/summer 2023 fashion show will be open to everyone, not only the fashion industry but also students, friends, and fans of the brand who will be able to register through an online registration process.
From September 1st on diesel.com everyone will have the chance, upon the order of arrival, to be invited to the fashion show and experience it firsthand.
The fashion show will also be streamed live on Diesel's digital channels.
