In the street and sportswear segments of many retailers, German label Naketano was a mainstay. The surprise was all the greater when the founders announced the end of the label in 2018. Since May of this year, the successor Fli Papigu wants to score with a 'social business' concept. The goal here is to donate all profits or use the funds generated to support social projects instead of distributing profits to shareholders or selling shares. "Our articles of association exclude capital distributions and the sale of shares as far as possible," says the label's website.
The collection is also to operate sustainably and wants to emphasize responsible manufacturing, materials of animal origin are to be avoided–further details have not been disclosed yet. The intention is to address streetwear to the "young, young at heart and active" who are "looking for a brand that stands for more than just fashion."

The collection was initially available for purchase exclusively on Aboutyou.com and additionally on its own website, powered by the About You Commerce Suite. In the meantime, sales have been expanded: for example, the label is also represented on Zalando.
