The second edition of the Renaissance Awards is ready to take place on 6 October 2022, in Florence, at Palazzo Portinari Salvati.

The global award dedicated to the work of young international sustainability leaders, has originated in the heart of Tuscany, in Florence, Italy, and is aimed at young people who are committed to a world that is socially just, economically inclusive, environmentally friendly and technologically balanced.

The initiative will take place through three main activities–the Renaissance Awards Possibilist Summit, the Renaissance Awards Gala Dinner, both taking place on 6 October, and via digital celebrating this year’s honorees through a digital campaign on social media channels and global media.

The awards ceremony will be preceded in the afternoon by a summit of young international leaders and activists who will discuss the issues of the moment: Sustainability, Innovation, Environment and Change.

Organized by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze in collaboration with the ChangemakersXchange Foundation, the "Possibilist Summit" is a unique event that will feature 20 young leaders from around the world who will look together for solutions that can bring about real and tangible system change and have a positive impact on the environment.

Each honoree will be awarded with an original Non-fungible Token (NFT) created from Renaissance masterpieces. The NFTs will be minted on the Cardano blockchain, who have dedicated their business to ensure they are creating an ethical and environmentally sound blockchain. Each category is represented with a beautiful, unique piece of Renaissance art, incorporating a modern butterfly as a symbol of rebirth.

Following the Renaissance Awards Possibilists Summit, four young leaders will have a unique opportunity to be incubated by our strategic partners and spend two months in Florence working on sustainable solutions with them.

Several international and national guests will enliven the event. Among them there are Rupert Everett, Amina Seck, Stella Jean, Itziar Ituno, Arianna Fontana, Minnie Mills, Michele Placido and Alex Di Giorgio.
