Within the Los Angeles Academy Awards 2023 whirlwind, the Green Carpet Fashion Awards returned and took place at Neue House in West Hollywood.
The event founded in 2017 continues to pursue its aim to celebrate the positive forces of the fashion world and entertainment, while awarding cultural change and the most important actions that guide it.
A stars’ parade participated in the initiative. Among them there were, Cate Blanchett, Mariacarla Boscono, Naomi Campbell, Leo Di Caprio, Tom Ford, Jerry Hall, Annie Lennox, LP, Georgia May Jagger, Alicia Silverstone, Mike D, Trudie Styler, Amber Valletta.
The Green Carpet Fashion Awards celebrated six cultural archetype honors that are crucial to collective transformation in any community.
This year’s honors included six societal archetypes: The Visionary, The Messenger, The Rebel, The Healer, The Sage, and The Futurist with the aim to recognise six diverse established change makers and international activists.

Among the awarded personalities there were Tom Ford who received The Visionary recognisement for the Tom Ford Plastic Innovation Prize he created in partnership with Lonely Whale. Thanks to this competition, they have disclosed some actual and scalable solutions to one of the most pervasive problem within the continued and accelerated use of oil-based plastics.
Sônia Guajajara, Brazil Minister for Indigenous People received The Healer award as recognisement for her achievements in upholding the rights of forests and helping to reposition Indigenous people central in the global climate agenda and for her dedication to protecting and regenerating the Amazon rainforest biome.

Gabriela Hearst received The Sage acknowledgment for her pursuit to reshape the fashion industry by seeking nature rewilding, indigenous creative leaders and creating products and marketplaces for people and designers who are traditionally overlooked.
Andreas Kronthaler, creative director of Vivienne Westwood and Westwood's husband, was awarded with The Messenger award as he has been instrumental to the direction and creativity of the Vivienne Westwood brand and continues to build the Vivienne Westwood legacy in his unique style.
Among partners sponsoring the event there was Candiani Denim, the Italian premium denim manufacturer.
