Nike's basketball-centric Jordan Brand recently unveiled its Jordan World of Flight Milan, the first of its kind to feature Jordan Brand footwear and apparel for men, women and kids.

Located at Via Torino 21 in Milan, the 363-square-meter store is rooted in the surrounding community with strong connections to local artists and creators as well as basketball culture.

The store invites the community to experience the Jordan brand by providing access to the latest product and customizable product offerings, convenient digital pickup projects, and Nike member-only events such as elevated SNKRS pickup experiences.

The store's design features are geared toward the Jordan consumer, including a Members Lounge for connection and activation.

"The opening of Jordan World of Flight is a truly exciting milestone for Jordan Brand," said Craig Williams, President, Jordan Brand.

"With World of Flight, we are unveiling a destination centered on our heritage and basketball culture. This new retail experience positions us to continue our growth as a brand and deepen our connection with our consumers," he added.

Local materials were used as part of the store's construction, and local artists created art and murals throughout the store that tell the stories of local basketball courts and teams, the surrounding community, as well as Jordan folklore and connections to Milan and Italy. One of those artists is Stefano Summo, an Italian illustrator whose love of hip-hop music, cinema, and sports inspired the work shown in the door.

The store will also feature the work of London and Paris-based photographer Tom D. Morgan. A Jordan fan since the mid-90s, he shot his "Environments" project for Nike in ten cities across Europe, showcasing and capturing local sports arenas and celebrating the community around them.
