Carhartt WIP is opening its first store in Rome and the brand’s fifth in Italy, with stores in Florence, Verona, and two in Milan.
Situated in Via Del Gambero 8, in the center of the Italian capital at Palazzo Raggi, a historic 18th century building found between the Italian Parliament and Piazza di Spagna, the rounded space store was designed by the Milan-based architecture studio of Andrea Caputo.
Spread over 75 square meters, it features a suspended elliptical ceiling that serves as a focal point, while the recurring use of neutral concrete surfaces further enhance the feeling of an infinite loop created within the cornerless space.
Carhartt WIP Store Rome will carry the men’s collection, as well as collaborations and special projects.
In addition, Carhartt WIP has created a small selection of store-exclusive products for the opening, including t-shirts that pay tribute to the city’s scooter culture.
