As India has graduated to become the world’s second-largest producer of denim fabric with manufacturing capacity touching 1.6 billion meters annually, the show aims to become at the place that can better help to facilitate denim fraternity with a much-needed platform to push the consumption of denim to its full capacity.

Moreover, the Indian denim industry has evolved significantly by adding fashion trends making its way into other utility-driven products.

As denim mills are now steadily implementing circularity in their production processes, also Indian denim manufacturers are taking strong steps towards creating more responsible denim fabrics that reduce the gap between fashion and sustainability.

Among manufacturers committed to this cause there is Raymond UCO who is offering high-quality denim fabrics using recycled polyester from ocean-bound plastics dyed with Blu 2.0, a unique indigo dyeing process that reduces the freshwater consumption and effluent load in the dyeing process by about 85% and the dependence on synthetic chemicals. The company has also curated a special denim collection that offers ultimate comfort, breathability, and moisture management while also being environment-friendly.
