"The energy and atmosphere at White and the return of important international buyers make us realize that the selection strategy undertaken on quality over quantity is the right one. With this in mind, I remain optimistic about the path taken: Milan is capable of creating new prospects for development and growth within the international fashion scene," said Massimiliano Bizzi, founder, White.

"The selection of the designers chosen for the Secret Rooms including Olubiyi Thomas, Romeo Hunte and Dreaming Eli confirms the competence of Simona Severini's scouting and selection work, moved by the goal of bringing out the rising stars of the fashion scene," he added.

Denim proved to be a great protagonist of the coming season. It was presented in two strong but diametrically opposed interpretations. On the one hand, Los Angeles Vintage, which finds its first inspiration in street markets and takes shape with a community-driven and eco-sustainable project using existing and unrepeatable garments, offered garments selected by Torgom, one of the most important warehouses in Los Angeles.

Inspired by completely a different attitude are brands interpreted by next-generation designers such as Nelly Serobyan, produced by Zakaryan Jeans LLC, and Inga Manukyan, produced by Nanman LLC.

These two brands from Armenia and Moldova, respectively, have given new prestige to this fabric, reworking it in a couture key for palazzo pants, dresses and bustier tops with innovative washes and finishes such as tie-and-dye with floral motifs, and made by reusing waste materials that give life to new striking knitwear collections.

Among this season's new entries, there is Bunzaburo, which brought its very personal version of Shibori with a collection dedicated to contemporary women. This ancient Japanese art of tie-and-dye follows ancient gestures handed down by tradition, from stitching to tying to dyeing the fabric, and lends great personality to each creation giving life to new timeless classics.

Nizhoni's colorful, handmade knitwear consists of 50% high-quality recycled yarn knitted by a team of skilled hands in Europe. This brand offers support to small communities, ensuring ethical forms of labor and a sustainable lifestyle.

Other realities seen at the show included the high craftsmanship of Marianna Mazza, who creates timeless footwear in which her family's jewelers’ business and her footwear expertise achieved over time converge.

The key to her design lies in the manual skills of skilled threaders, capable of creating small jewelry accessories that manage to apply precious stones to shoes.

Maison Rode's sustainable necklaces are made by salvaging old inner tubes cut by hand to create real sculptures.

Sitting Suits' quilts are made by reusing plastic bottles, then painted and printed with signature graphics. Glovetoo gloves are a handcrafted project by Valentina Ambrosi, who hand paints each item and customizes it with bangs or bijoux, turning them into real collectible accessories.
