After CIFF’s recent announcement of the acquisition of Revolver, Sofie Dolva, director, CIFF, has shortly explained The SPIN OFF her first impressions about what changes will occur to Scandinavian shows and its fashion scene.

Right now our full focus is on the merge as well as on the upcoming trade fair happening in February 2023. After this, we will finalize the new strategy going forward as one combined organization.
Speaking about dates we will take the right decisions in order to stay relevant to our brands and buyers – and the same goes for the dates, we’ll follow the needs of the market.
In the past Revolver did some collaborations with international shows like, for instance, White Milano and Pitti Uomo. Will the show continue such strategy?
Yes, we will definitely continue the great collaboration with Pitti Uomo and maybe others outside of Denmark.

For years, a core endeavor for CIFF has been nurturing a fashion community rooted in a Danish and Scandinavian approach to sustainability.
We’re not merely a biannual trade show but a year-round platform uniting brands, creators, press and buyers. Just as we work to create commercial value for our clients and visitors, we also engage them in must-have sustainability conversations.
Be it through inspiring talks, sharing key insights, or championing pioneering solutions, we feel an urgent need to use our voice as a unifying industry organization to keep pushing in a greener direction and - in turn - help educate others. That mission will remain an integral part of the new CIFF x Revolver union.
