The side effects on the fashion trade show business caused by the pandemic continue: Not a week goes by without cancellations, postponements or concept changes of trade fairs, summits and events being announced. To keep an overview, we constantly track what's going on in the trade show world.

Here are the latest news from Who’s Next, Texworld Paris, Revolver, Innatex, Momad and Techtextil/Texprocess…

Who’s Next Limited canceled
The premiere of Who's Next Limited in Paris, a new event by Who’s Next presenting the pre-collections during the Paris Fashion Week in June and initially scheduled 25-28 June is canceled. So far, the organizer WSN Developpement has not given any reasons for the cancellation.

The next regular edition of Who’s Next is planned to run in Paris 3-6 September 2021.

Texworld Evolution Paris: Le Showroom: Two locations
For its July event, Texworld’s showroom format ‘Evolution Paris: Le Showroom’ aims to grow and will double the number of manufacturers compared to its February session: Running 5-9 July the fabrics, garments and accessories hub wants to bring together 160 companies from 15 countries.

It will therefore expand to a second location nearby, in addition to the Atelier Richelieu. The visit will now start at the 5 rue du Mail, in a former textile factory converted into a contemporary showroom and will end next door at the Atelier Richelieu location.

Revolver: One trade show – two venues
Copenhagen trade show Revolver will take place in a physical format over three days from 11-13 August 2021.

Just as last summer Revolver will take place in two venues, Øksnehallen and Forum, in order to spread the amount of people so to comply all regulations and guidelines from the Danish Ministry of Health. There will be a shuttle bus service between the two locations in Central Copenhagen.

For the upcoming season, Revolver is planning to dress all brands in the same “school uniform”, naturally graduated individually after different sizes, but with exactly the same look. Meaning, Revolver will offer a Plug and Play solution and deliver all brands the same design of rails, table, chairs, shelving’s and signs. This way, Revolver wants to reduce costs to a minimum as well as reducing costs for the build-up.

Additionally, Revolver digital is being further developed and will present a new and integrated platform ready for August.
