One of the longest running fashion trade event from Northern Europe, CIFF will celebrate its 30th anniversary within Copenhagen Fashion Week, taking place from January 31st to February 3rd.

The special celebrating edition of the show will present a refreshed and renewed trade show concept under the new directorship of Sofie Dolva.

Launched in 1993, CIFF has established itself as a key event in the international calendar over three decades and played host to over half a million visitors and 10,000 exhibitors from over 100 international markets at the Bellacenter since its debut, underpinned by Scandinavian values of cooperation, sustainability, and optimism.

In celebration of this landmark anniversary, CIFF is curating a program of activities and events breaking down out-dated boundaries between trade and consumer interests, driven and inspired by their domestic and international community, with discovery at the heart of this season’s show.

Sofie Dolva commented: “I join CIFF as we celebrate our 60th show, looking back to all we have achieved over the past 30 years, and forward to the future of the fair, and the possibility of the role we can play for a new generation of industry.”

“How can we work to make fashion more open and inclusive, and move beyond the boundaries of tradition to create a truly contemporary expression blending discovery, inspiration, and commerce? How do we meet the needs of industry and our clients, whilst also opening up to consumers and the young people who will become the industry of tomorrow? At this milestone in the history of CIFF, we take the first steps towards this vision for the future celebrating our 60th Anniversary throughout Fashion Week and bringing the centre of gravity for activity, events, shows and trade back to the Bellacenter,” she continued.

Under the theme of discovery, CIFF aims to become a conduit between Copenhagen and the world, connecting brands and retail, industry and consumers, fashion, and lifestyle, as an international hub for creativity, commerce, education, culture, and positive change.
