Milan is preparing to host various fashion shows focused on sectors including footwear, leather goods, fashion, furs and jewels.
The events Micam, International Footwear Exhibition, Mipel, International event dedicated to leather goods and fashion accessories, The One Milano, Haut-à-Porter Exhibition will be held from March 13 to 15, 2022, while Homi Fashion&Jewels Exhibition, event dedicated to fashion jewelry and accessories will be partially overlapping from March 11 to 14, always inside the Fiera Milano exhibition center in Rho.

Micam steps ahead
Micam Milano will host 821 footwear brands and will present a series of initiatives aimed at showing how footwear companies are investing in new trends and research, as well as guaranteeing sustainable standards for their production chain.
In order to give space to this ferment, Micam Milano, has created a number of initiatives that focus on the theme of production with reduced environmental and social impact, to be hosted in the exhibition space Micam Green Zone, set up in hall 7.

In the same area, 20 x Green, a section presenting 20 shoes made by exhibiting companies according to sustainability characteristics based on materials, production systems and product life cycle.
Micam Green Zone will also host ACBC, an Italian company specialized in the creation and production of certified sustainable footwear. The brand, certified B Corp, will present its next Fall Winter 2022 collection and the different capsule collections created in collaboration with some of the most famous brands in the industry. So far confirmed are Alexander Smith, Geox, Malìparmi, Northwave, Pantofola d'Oro 1886, Piquadro, Rewoolution, Save The Duck, Philippe Model.

Micam X, the laboratory of ideas dedicated to innovation, will offer meetings and initiatives dedicated to four important themes: Retail of the Future, Sustainability, Trends & Materials, Art Fashion Heritage & Future. Seminars and presentations will be organized every day with the aim of creating new stimuli and anticipating future scenarios.
How Mipel goes digital
Mipel, the trade show specialized in presenting novelties from the leather goods industry including bags and leather accessories, will present over 100 selected brands, including historic brands and emerging national and international companies.

Mirta will be online live from March 1 to 25, anticipating the event by a few days. In the spaces of Hall 3, Mipel will dedicate to Mirta an innovative and digital exhibition area, proposing a selection of artisans present on the platform. Mirta will also be actively involved in the realization of moments of entertainment such as talks, interviews and masterclasses, dedicated to exhibitors and visitors, which will address issues of interest to the leather goods sector and beyond. Among the proposed topics there will be female entrepreneurship, the future of Made in Italy and the wholesale sector, social media and digital strategies for small businesses and generational turnover.

The One Milano-MiFur, is a fair dedicated to high-end prê-à-porter and fur. The event will host 90 brands from 11 countries.
Among the projects of this fair there will be the special area "Slow Fashion Manifesto: The visible competences" dedicated to Made in Italy and its know-how. The initiative will present the artisan value of some small Italian companies specialized in high-value manufacturing, revealing the secrets of craftsmen such as the embroiderer, the tailor, the loom weaver, the leather worker, the goldsmith and the lace maker.
