Red Circle Investments, Renzo Rosso's private investment company, has announced its entry into the capital of Bending Spoons, an Italian company that develops mobile applications.
Founded in 2013 in Copenhagen and moved to Milan in 2015, Bending Spoons is a global technology company with over 20 apps developed, counting more than 60 million active users and 400 million downloads. A few days ago, for the third consecutive year, it was voted the best workplace for young people in the ranking drawn up by Great Place To Work.
"Since my first investments in the digital sector with Yoox, H-Farm and Depop, I have had the confirmation that believing in innovation, digital and young people is a guarantee of success," said Renzo Rosso, president, Red Circle Investments. “You learn new things and change the way you do them. The world of applications is fascinating and constantly evolving: each app is a modern enterprise that arises from the solution of a problem and is quickly understood, especially by young people. I am proud to be part of Bending Spoons, and I am sure that together we will write the future."
Red Circle Investments is involved in exploring new, innovative and high-potential sectors. The company's current investment portfolio ranges from the digital world (with Iconiq Capital which invests in technology with some important names in Silicon Valley), to food and eco-tech (Cortilia, Planet Farms, Masi), through eyewear (Marcolin, Retrosuperfuture), and tech-med (CoImmune, Techwald), just to name a few.
