The technology only uses plants and plant waste, such as flowers, berries, peels, and roots, which are allowed to dry and then infused, with no harmful chemical additives. Moreover, it only uses 100% organic and compostable raw materials, its use helps reduce CO2 emissions and save high amounts of water and energy.

The use of Wake technology within this specific agreement can support small local communities and help them continue living on their land, according to their culture and traditions. In fact, WTS embodies the values of research and production of sustainable knitwear and other high-end textiles produced while respecting traditions, the cultures, the lives of local communities, and the safeguard of the ecosystem.
