For s/s 2023, Jacob Cohën, the Italian luxury denim brand created by Nicola Bardelle in 2002, will launch Jacob Cohën By Matthew Adams Dolan, the first women's capsule collection created in collaboration with the American designer Matthew Adams Dolan.

The new project, wanted by Jennifer Tommasi Bardelle, artistic director of the brand, will feature a mini-collection offering a total look made in one of the most beloved fabrics used by Matthew Adams Dolan throughout his career - denim. The new project is exclusively destined for a few selected Italian and international retailers.

"Working together with Matthew has been an exciting experience," commented Tommasi Bardelle. "In Matthew, I saw again the creative flare that has always distinguished Nicola's work. I am sure that our collaboration will mark the first step of Jacob Cohën in the fashion world, while remaining faithful to the stylistic codes and DNA of the brand."

"Denim has always been my fabric of choice," commented Adams Dolan. "The collaboration with Jacob Cohën gave me the opportunity to get to know an Italian reality capable of speaking an international language, focusing on quality, identifying creative content and luxury details that make the difference. On this occasion, I was able to fully express the codes that have always described my style," added the designer.

After graduating from the MFA program at the prestigious Parsons School for Design in 2014, in New York, Adams Dolan founded his own brand shortly after, and immediately gained the attention not only of the fashion industry but also of singer Rihanna, who involved him as a consultant in the creation of her Fenty x Puma collections.

In 2018, the designer was selected among the nine finalists of the LVMH Prize contest, the same year he was a classic among the finalists of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund. Right after he continued his collaboration with Rihanna as lead consultant for the launch of the Fenty fashion house with LVMH in 2019, and in 2020 he participated in the prestigious International Woolmark Prize.
