According to the outdoor apparel brand The North Face, every second, the equivalent of one truckload of textile waste is landfilled or burned. This means that 87% of the materials used in clothing production end up in waste.
To curb and drastically decrease this phenomenon, the brand founded in 1966 and part of VF's VF Outdoor division, has launched its first The North Face Circular Design circular collection for f/w 2022/2023.

Supported by the "It's More Than A Jacket" campaign, these pieces are intrinsically linked to the concepts of protecting the planet and supporting circular design as necessary steps toward a world in which the garments we wear may have the least impact on the environment as possible.
As part of this new project, The North Face has created 18 styles characterized by criteria that seek to minimize waste. In fact, these are products that can be more easily disassembled and recycled at the end of their lives, following the key principles of the circular economy.

Once a product has reached the end of its life cycle, The North Face offers customers an easy solution to recycle used clothing and footwear. Thanks to “The Clothes The Loop” program connected to this new collection, consumers will be able to recycle clothing, footwear and equipment of any brand and in any condition by simply dropping them off at the store.
