The Italian streetwear and sportswear specialist Slam Jam and the Italian sport and lifestyle brand Fila are launching Redefined, a brand-new apparel capsule  focused on redefining some of the most iconic garments from Fila’s archive, according to a study of functionality and multiple application to sports.

The collection features seven unisex items characterised by co-branded patches, the iconic perforated Slam Jam logo and colorways in shades of grey, white and red. Highlights include a frost grey windbreaker and track jacket crafted in super light nylon – both of which can be paired with a pinstriped running top, training shorts and running hat combo to create the ultimate track and field ensemble. Off the track, a set of polo shirts can be matched with track pants in grey shades from lunar rock and dark grey, along with a padded nylon gym bag and other accessories. As another offspring part of Slam Jam's ongoing (Un)corporate Uniforms project, Redefined is an example of how the concept of the uniform can be reinvented.

 

Slam Jam x Fila Redefined will be available exclusively on Slamjam.com, via Slam Jam’s doors and selected retailers. The collection will be released on May 21st.
