German eco womenswear label Lanius is expanding its product range and launching its first sustainable sportswear collection.
The 11-piece line launches for the spring/summer 2022 season and includes tights, cycling shorts, tops, sweaters, and hoodies, with retail prices ranging from €69 to €129.
The collection offers eleven pieces.
The Active Athleisure collection is said to use sustainable materials such as Econyl, organic cotton and Tencel. Econyl is made from, among other things, old fishing nets that are recycled into a 100% regenerated nylon yarn. Combined with spandex, the fabric is said to become particularly snug, flexible and durable, according to Lanius.
The label is also presenting a new sustainable sneaker made from Tencel, natural latex, recycled rubber and foam, which is said to be particularly lightweight, breathable and vegan. The retail price is €139.
Lanius also launches a new sneaker model.
Lanius, based in Cologne, was founded by Claudia Lanius back in 1999 and is considered a pioneer of sustainable fashion on the German market.
