Nadia Wire is a newly established knitwear brand that launched in 2020 named after its founder, designer Nadia Wire. The labels’ creative characteristics are bold colors and playful shapes to fit all seasons and wardrobes. Every piece is manufactured in-house at its own knitting factory in Denmark, where the brand operates under a small scale and a made to order vision.

The design team works side by side with the production department, and therefore takes well-informed design decisions, and by extension, the brand saves avoidable waste. Nadia Wire doesn’t follow the traditional seasonal fashion calendar. Instead, the label launches drops according to its own schedule, to maintain a sustainable production flow.

Nadia Wire herself graduated from London at Central Saint Martins in 2017, where she studied textile design. She specialized in knitwear during her studies at CSM. She has since then gained great experience working for brands such as Osman, Pringle of Scotland, Peter Pilotto, Stine Goya and Iris Van Herpen. She was also a finalist at the FAD x Missoni competition in 2017, where Angela Missoni handpicked her to show a knitwear collection during London Fashion Week. After returning to Copenhagen, Nadia Wire founded her brand and knitting factory in 2020. She aims to connect production closer with the processes and to bring the textile production back to Denmark.
