Bicycles and electric scooters have quickly become the new sustainable modes of transport. However, as with motorcycling, bike and scooter riders are usually only helmeted on the head, leaving the body exposed to accidents. This is exactly where Let's Ride comes in.
Founder Adame Moustadira from Aix-en-Provence wants to protect the bodies of cyclists, scooters and motorcyclists for the new urban mobility in a chic way. All of his outdoor jackets, coats and backpacks have pockets built into the lining on the back and shoulders, into which padded protection made of rubber can be integrated. The concept is similar to the plastic-reinforced underwear jumpers for skiers, but in comparison to these, it can be removed at any time. Moustadira says, "With a simple flick of the wrist, the rubber is removed so you don't have to walk around with the padding in the office during the day."
