Lovewaves is a newborn sustainable yoga wear brand that can also be worn in leisure time or as everyday apparel.
It was founded in 2019 by the Italian entrepreneur and yoga fan Alessia Terrida who spent some time working in the tailoring and design markets and learned how often in these industries quality materials are produced, bought and often thrown away without being used.
“I decided to create my own brand and give new life to unused 100% cotton fabrics by creating a collection made up of single-size, comfortable pieces,” explained Terrida. “I chose to offer small limited edition piece selections by upcycling already existing fabric leftovers from the large-scale distribution, in order to limit the impact of the apparel industry.”
Loveweaves is inspired by a fusion of inspiration between the Eastern and Western lifestyles and cultures, keeping a balance between femininity and curviness.

The fits and the quality of fabrics offered for every capsule are meant to always adapt to different body types while enhancing their different characteristics. Yogasuit, for instance, is the ideal suit meant to be worn when practicing yoga as it helps a harmonious body movement without constricting the body, but also cool and comfortable to be worn in leisure time.
Color plays an important role as the brand follows a specific own system, Aura-Soma, according to an own chromotherapy philosophy. Key hues include coral pink, light blue and white, among others.
The collection is sold at prices ranging between €68 and €109 up to €149 for accessories and jewelry.
