Maragno, is an Italian brand founded in spring 2021 by Giulio Maragno, an expert insider of the fashion business and a stylist who collaborates for brands including Max Mara, Upim and OVS, among others.
The aim of the designer, who was also awarded with the MM Award 2022, an international creative award for fashion and interior designers and brands, is to create a collection that can help express one's own sense of freedom and individuality.
The brand is also keen about offering high-luxury materials, though in keeping within a sustainable approach as it is produced by recycling leftover precious fabrics, leftovers from the production of important fashion brands.
Maragno is inspired by a sense of comfort as it offers apparel single-size pieces that can be worn as home wear but also for everyday life. They are characterised by oversize silhouettes and soft lines inspired by an '80s feel and the same made in Italy quality of those years.
All pieces are made with cashmere, wool and silk fabrics and are practically single edition pieces as all the fabrics are available in limited quantities only.
The collection's color palette ranges from neutral earth tones to white and light blue hues, expressing its founder's philosophy "Between earth and sky", an attitude that conjugates his down-to-earth approach with his desire to never stop dreaming.
The brand has started its distribution in Italy through independent upmarket boutiques including, for instance, Rosa, in Thiene, at retail prices that range between €300 to €2,500.
