After working in the womenswear studio at Balenciaga and Martine Rose, while also collaborating remotely for Yeezy in LA, he then worked for two years at Gucci.

Under the direction of Alessandro Michele, he focused on the luxury brand’s main collections as well as on special projects for celebrities including Billie Eilish, Harry Styles & Lil Nas X, among others.

In 2021, he relocated to Germany to launch his own eponymous brand in Berlin.

“Raised by Wolves”, his second collection created for s/s 2023, is inspired by Jim Goldberg’s seminal work Raised by Wolves, a documentation of homeless youth and children fending for themselves in the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco between 1985-95.

In this collection he merges memories from him past and his studies adding aspects from his own visual research inspired by flashy colors from the historical carnival in Hamburg he often visited during his childhood and adolescence and has always been visually fascinated by such lights and bright colors. Today this same fascination is carried over in the prints of his collection: being distorted, using neon colors and producing an effect of chaotic fun along with other visual elements representing strongly stylized animal prints of phoenixes, tigers and panthers.

For this season, he created for the first time airbrushed styles as his own signature pieces. These items are not only rendered in leather, but also in lustrous Japanese satin, denim and jersey.

Silhouettes are a deeply nostalgic take on the awkwardness of coming-of-age creating a juxtapposition between ill-fitting and oversized elements with the kitsch element of the artworks.

The designer uses such materials as leather, denim, mesh and jersey, all of which have been printed in world-class factories located in Italy’s historic Como region.

The collection also bears special attention to sustainability as jackets have been made entirely with dead stock leather, denim and jersey are made with GOTS certified cotton and the satin is made of FSC certified viscose.

Retail prices range between €290 for a Lycra printed top to €490 for denim printed jeans to €590 for a denim printed jackets.
