Zegna, the brand and company established as a textile manufacturer, and now a global leader in luxury menswear part of Ermenegildo Zegna Group, is launching Zegna X, a new digital ecosystem and customisation tool that wants to redefine the future of service.

Zegna X includes a set of tools that will become an integral part of the brand's digital evolution. To date, it has included the Outreach App, which accounts for about 45% of the brand's full-price retail sales.

This service helps style consultants to serve their customers individually by allowing them to share images of products sent via SMS, e-mail, social media, WhatsApp and WeChat.

Zegna X's latest development wants to bridge the gap between physical stores and digital channels by featuring a state-of-the-art 3D style-configurator that caters to customers' specific personal requirements - from cut and color to styling, measurements and material.

The initial focus of the tool is exclusively on the Luxury Leisurewear collection.

"Technology is a luxury when it makes life easier. At Zegna, we see digital as more than just a just a sales channel. Today, the Zegna X digital ecosystem already accounts for about 45% of our sales in the post-Covid era. After a two-year pilot program, we are defining Zegna X is successfully redefining the era of personalized services through a unique digital customer experience successfully," explained Edoardo Zegna, chief marketing, digital and sustainability officer, Zegna.

"Also, the integration of our Made-to-Measure service into this innovative 3D configurator is a direct extension of Zegna X. Made-to-Measure already accounts for about 10% of sales, and the technological Zegna X capabilities will continue to drive the growth and reach of this category," he added.

According to estimates, thanks to this tool there are 49 billion possible combinations of made-to-measure clothing and styles that can be custom-made in less than four weeks and can be delivered anywhere in the world.

The Zegna X 3D Configurator - developed in collaboration with technology partner Shin Software - will initially be launched for the Leisurewear and Footwear categories, of which more than 2,300 products will be available for personalization.

Starting from today, style consultants around the world can use Zegna X to connect with their customers and suggest the best styling options based on individual tastes and requirements.

The Zegna X 3D Configurator in-store maxi screen will be presented during Salone del Mobile in April at Zegna store in Via Montenapoleone, in Milan. This debut will be immediately followed by its launch in key global retail stores.

Zegna X for the tailoring category will be launched by the end of this year, and from 2024 consumers will be able to purchase any look from the Collection via zegna.com on all personal devices.
