The company was founded in 1982 by Giuseppe and Cristina Calori, visionary personalities who wanted to explore the world by trying to repurpose, through their lenses, brands that could tell peculiar stories and attractive lifestyles, while never sacrificing a high standard of quality in their products.

Over these four decades Cristina Calori, entrepreneur and leader of the group, has built an archive of about 80,000 garments as a cultural operation to narrate the path taken since the company's founding and to inspire future generations.

On the occasion of this anniversary, the company also thought of opening its archive to external consultations. In order to promote the project it reproduced a selection of vintage t-shirts from the archive and proposed a capsule of T-shirts depicting graphics that have been protagonists of WP's creative journey over these 40 years, Both selection are sold online and through WP stores.
