The new shop will open its doors on March 18, 2023, in the centrally located Kaufhaus Tyrol in Innsbruck's city center.
"For us, Innsbruck is a city that offers our customers the ideal balancing act between urban city life and activities in nature and the mountains. With the opening this store, we want to create a place for our community where they can exchange ideas, inspiration and find the right gear for their next outdoor adventure," said Sara Molnar, CEO, Peak Performance.
The store covers a total area of 180 sq. meters and is located on the second floor of the renowned department store. The interior was designed in Sweden, drawing inspiration from the northern part of Sweden nature along with Peak Performance's Scandinavian design heritage.

To underscore the brand's determination to reduce its impact on the environment and to improve the longevity of quality and design, it offers a maintenance and repair service of its products. As part of these services, customers are given the opportunity to have their damaged products repair, they can benefit from a professional washing service and learn some useful tips and tricks on how to care for their clothes.
Within the store opening, Peak Performance will also launch its own secondhand initiative Wear Agains in Austria. Thanks to this concept, Peak Performance products that are no longer needed by consumers are collected in the stores.
The initiative is set for the brand to underline its commitment to longevity. So far, Wear Agains has only been offered in Sweden, but starting this March, for the first time, Austrian consumers will also be able to exchange their Peak Performance products for a voucher. The collected clothing items will then be offered in the flagship store in Vienna from May 2023.
