One of These Days, the menswear brand by the US multidisciplinary artist Matt McCormick, has teamed up with Woolrich, the Original American Outdoor brand, to create a new limited collection of apparel and lifestyle goods.

The new capsule One of These Days x Woolrich Collection offers a reimagining of signature Woolrich styles,  while it pays homage to Woolrich’s enduring legacy, while also showcasing McCormick’s own take on Americana.

As part of its winter 2022 collaboration, the new eight-piece range includes a mix of updated workwear staples, such as hard wearing over shirts, rough and tumble outerwear, and burly painter pants, along with graphic tees, tote, and sweater, and a limited edition blanket with a unique pattern that was custom designed by McCormick.

“With this collection, I really wanted to pay homage to the long, storied history of Woolrich,” explained McCormick. “Having grown up with Woolrich blankets, I’ve always dreamed about designing my own - and now I’ve had that chance. The blanket’s visual language - which we’ve made a unifying theme throughout the collection - is my encapsulation of a classic American company that’s been a part of my life since childhood," explained the artist.

One of These Days, the menswear brand from acclaimed multidisciplinary artist Matt McCormick founded in 2017, has teamed up once again with Woolrich, the Original American Outdoor brand, to create a new limited collection of apparel and lifestyle goods after he had designed a Woolrich blanket for the Holiday 2022 season.

The One of These Days x Woolrich collection is available from oneofthesedays.com, Woolrich.com, select Woolrich stores, and a curated selection of global retailers beginning on April 19, 2023.

The capsule's release was celebrated with an event at Milan Woolrich Flagship store on the same day during Salone del Mobile, while the store hosted Matt McCormick's art pieces in a temporary exhibit.

Matt McCormick, born in 1987 is a multimedia artist, whose artwork assimilates various cultural influences culled from the American West reflecting the conflicting histories of Western culture.

In his paintings and drawings, nostalgia for a fabled past abuts the realities of the “American dream” that confront him daily in Downtown Los Angeles and New York, where his studios are located.

He embraces most different cultural aspects related to the Land of Liberty as the homestead towns, gold rush bonanzas and 1950s Hollywood glamour that captivate popular imagination.

McCormick’s art embodies the true spirit of America, but also the human condition, replete with renegades, risk-takers and outlaws. He lives and works in Los Angeles and New York. His work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in New York, Paris, Hong Kong, Miami, London, Los Angeles, Tokyo, Aspen, and San Francisco.
