On the occasion of Earth Day, Giorgio Armani presented its new Armani/Values website (www.armanivalues.com). The aim of the initiative is to point out the values that have supported the designer’s stylistic direction and entrepreneurial decisions, and which define the group’s DNA.

The website wants to provide detailed documentation about how aesthetics, quality and innovation are combined with the group’s value system that is expected to stand the test of time and be respectful of the resources. Along with it, it aims to underline that the future of the next generations depends on today’s decisions.
The website presents a wide and comprehensive overview about news and information regarding the Armani world and the group’s history.

The Overview introduces the entire group, from its three brands to the lifestyle world, including Armani/Silos, Hotels & Resorts and restaurants. It also presents a timeline that starts from the foundation of the company in 1975, as well as all the programs and commitments made on issues such as sustainability, ethical decisions and agreements. Here, visitors can also consult the annual Sustainability Report communicating its main achievements as well as future objectives, strictly integrated into business strategy.
The People section illustrates how human capital is an essential aspect for the Armani Group, how its work environment is diversified and inclusive, and places an emphasis on the wellbeing and qualities of the individual, mapped through the number of employees, the places where the group is present, the offices and the production plants, and more–including a link to the web page listing job opportunities.

The Prosperity section brings together all of Giorgio Armani’s projects–both local and international–that sustain communities, the development of social and cultural heritage including charitable initiatives, support for research, new business models, and promotion of new generations of creatives.

The designer thinks that he has always cared about people and community, because a company must not only receive but give back too. The same philosophy shall also apply to our planet, which everyone must take care of. “Values matter, and for me, they are absolutely fundamental. With this website, I wish to share an essential and imperative duty: an invitation for all of us to build a more responsible system,” added the designer.
