Furla, Italian bag and accessory brand, has reinterpreted Unica, an icon from its '90s archive according to a new sustainable vision–Unica Furla Earth Limited Edition.

This new limited edition bag model claims to be the first Made in Italy bag in biodegradable leather, realized in collaboration with Cyclica, a tanning specialist that develops low impact transformation processes for leather aimed at the fashion and luxury markets.

The bag, available in two sizes, is tanned with Oleum, a specific treatment developed by Cyclica that reuses waste from olive oil production and vegetal leather tanning waste. Thanks to this treatment, the bag, when left in specific composting conditions, biodegrades by 98% in about three months.
